Soldiers, we have a few elements that help us spot Foes …
This is sight, radar, voice, foot step and gun fire.
The most common way that all players use is sight, radar and footsteps. I’m not going to talk about this three since the internet is saturated. The only thing I am going to argument about radar and footstep is the downsides. I haven’t seen any body telling you the cons of this only the pros.

The radar or map located in the bottom left of the HUD is a great source of Intel when spotting the enemy. The down side is the distractions caused when looking down to the map and gather the Intel. Hey every fraction of a second makes the difference between life and death.
Footstep sound is the other common method used good for spotting Foes trying to knife you, moving inside rooms, behind walls. But has a few cons the game is a battlefield loud noise around even your gunshot cover footsteps sounds. Just like real life. Another problem is the game engine is playing a lot of sound at the same time causing the known issue of missing sound.

Now, what I really want to talk about.
Voices, at the beginning of each map I activate a sound from the command menu usually pick the go, go, go, go! With this I’m checking what my team voice sound like, fast and easy.
Why I do this? ... Let’s say I’m in the US team, Foes are RU so that is your Q for spotting the enemy. There are lots of videos showing you the obvious. Here I’ll tell you some other sounds you should pay attention and when to use the method correctly
Example: let’s say I’m going to clear a room. Stack up at left side the door and ready up for a room entry techniques. I spotted the first enemy right away in the window take the shot. Wait don’t rush in at the first enemy you drop If there are more enemies in that room you will hear the others shout man down. Back to where we whore I dropped the first guy and wait for the Q I hear the 2 foes shouting one on the left and one on the right giving me a clear idea of my situation.
The sound of a gunshot. At times I caught myself running around not paying attention to the sounds around me. Ending in a bad situation. This is more effective for spotting silencer and in Hard Core.
Let’s imagine you are in bravo squad and alpha squad its pinned down trading shots. You spot the enemies on the map and have a chance of flanking. Wile, you aproch only 2 enemies are blinking on the map. What a normal player would do is rush in take does to kills boom safe the day… right. WRONG!! The second you enter and take the two guys down but there was a third one using silencer. The silenced enemy spots that the teammates died looks to see boom killed you. You were not aware of him, so he had the advantage.
There’s a way to turn the table. When you are flanking the 2 guys spotted in the map and you didn’t rush Instead u paid attention to the gun shots and gather Intel
What you want to gather is:
-How close the gun sounds
-If there is a suppressed gun sound
-How many guns are being fired?
Once you have a visualization approach with the cover to cover and slicing the pie technique
